Fluids have fascinated and influenced humans and their lives since ancient times. This proposal is an attempt to introduce to the subject of fluids both from the cultural as well as application perspective. We will discuss the importance they have played in the history of the mankind and the impact of their study on our world. We will also explore different areas of research where detailed analysis of the motion of fluids plays a key role. We hope to stimulate the curiosity of young students.
