What are the biggest challenges that Taiwan is facing during the geopolitical crisis these days, and many other related questions raised in these turbulent times, to be answered by Taiwanese writer Kaori Lai, sinologist Jacob F. Tisher, Taiwanese political cartoonist Stellina Chen and Hongkongnese artist living in exile in Taiwan Kacey Wong. Discussion is moderated by journalist and analyst Filip Noubel.

An anthropologist of religion specializing in Taiwanese popular religion. His doctoral dissertation research focused on the dynamics of tradition and modernity in Taiwan’s popular religious culture. Since January 2025 he is the “Global Taiwan Chair” at Charles Uni. Prague (Inst. of Chinese Studies).
