Are you curious about how luxurious perfumes of antiquity smelled? What scents did the Egyptian gods favor, what did Hellenistic rulers wear, and what were perfumes used for back then? Come and try the profession of an ancient perfumer! We invite you to a workshop of the Alchemy of Scents project, where you will create your own version of the metópion perfume. Discover intriguing facts from the world of fragrances and explore a variety of ingredients.

Laura Prieto holds a masters in Flavors and Fragrances Chemistry with experience in organic chemistry and sensory evaluation of fine fragrances. Currently she is pursuing her PhD at the Chemistry of Natural Products Group of the IOCB Prague. She is the lead chemist in the Alchemies of Scents project
